Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Muse by Mala. By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Muse by Mala website. By purchasing from us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Products

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, slight variations in colour, embroidery, embellishments, and handcrafted details may occur due to differences in screen displays and the artisanal nature of our products.

Such variations are not considered faults or defects.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£).

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice.

4. Ready-Made Veils

Ready-made veils are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Dispatch and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

5. Custom Veils

Custom veil orders are created according to the specifications provided by the customer.

Production will begin only after all design details have been confirmed and full payment has been made.

As custom pieces are made specifically for each customer, they cannot be cancelled, returned, refunded, or exchanged once production has commenced.

6. Shipping

Shipping times and delivery information are outlined in our Shipping Policy.

Muse by Mala is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processes, adverse weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees imposed by their destination country.

7. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.

8. Gift Cards

Gift cards are sold in fixed denominations of £50, £100, £150 and £200 and are delivered by email as a unique code. Nothing is posted.

  • Validity. Gift cards do not expire.
  • Redemption. Codes are redeemable against any purchase at checkout. If your order costs less than the balance, the remainder stays on the card for future use. If it costs more, you pay the difference by card.
  • Cancellation. As a distance purchase, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the code and receive a full refund, provided the code has not been used in whole or in part. This right belongs to the purchaser, not the recipient. To cancel, contact us and we will deactivate the code and refund you within 14 days.
  • Cash. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Your other rights. Using a gift card does not affect your statutory rights in relation to the goods you buy with it. Items purchased with a gift card carry the same rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as any other order, and refunds on those items are returned to the gift card balance.
  • Loss and misuse. Treat the code like cash. We cannot replace codes that are lost, or reimburse you if a code is used by someone you shared it with. We may void a card obtained fraudulently.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, product photography, branding, logos, designs, graphics, and written content, is the property of Muse by Mala and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muse by Mala shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Privacy

Customer information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website.
